Welcome back to another Cozy Tarot Reading! How was everyone’s last few weeks?
It has been a crazy past view weeks. My grandmother was in the hospital because she was very sick (she’s doing much better) and work has been kicking my ass, so I just haven’t had the time or energy to post one of these in awhile. But I’m trying to get back into things here as well as my YouTube channel.
Now let's get into the reading!
Cozy tarot Sunday is a week a head reading that I post every Sunday! The reading encompasses a focus for the week, a way to embrace the focus, a challenge to overcome, and a card for self-care for the week.
This week I’ll be using the Coastal Curiosities Pocket Edition by Lennox Rees. This will be paired with The Rosebud Tarot by Diana Rose Harper and illustrated by Amanda Stilwell and published by Weiser Books.
I have unboxings on both of these decks coming soon to my YouTube channel.
As always for the self-care portion of the reading, I’ll be sharing the self-care activities from the book Tarot for Self-Care by Minerva Siegel and published by Adams Media.

1- Focus for the week. Submerge - discovery, healing, uniqueness2
Thinking about the title submerge reminds me of diving deep into something. When you dive deep you make a lot of discoveries about different things. Whether it be diving deep into a new project, ongoing project, shadow work, or yourself, there’s so much to discover and learn from it all. So, take the time to how you want to proceed because whatever you do there will be a lot of work ahead of you. If you’re ready to learn and grow, this will be a great experience. But if you’re closed off, it might be harder to trust the process ahead.
2- How to embrace the focus? Curiosity of air (page of swords)
The pages in general have very curious natural by default since they constantly wanting to learn. With the page of swords, there’s that curious mind aspect of being passionate in the ideas that they think up. This plays well into the focus of the week with the submerge card as it provides an excuse to go further into ideas you many have of things you want to really dive into. Take this as a source of inspiration to go forward in your learning. Progress comes with doing.
3- A challenge of the week. Velocity of air (knight of swords)
The knight of swords isn’t really known for their patience and tend to bite off more than they can chew with their ambitions. Deep diving, anything, takes time. It’s not an overnight process, so you need to have patience during the process. Don’t let your impatience get in your way, or else you won’t be getting far. In terms of being ambitious, nothing wrong with that, but make sure you’re not taking on more than you are capable of. You don’t want to burn yourself out either. That doesn’t really end up being helpful.
4- Self-care of the week. 6 of fire (wands)
The self-care activities are in terms of mind, body, and spirit. Of course, if these self-care activities don’t resonate with you, just make sure you’re doing some kind of self-care for yourself as self-care is very important!
Mind: Write down the things that make you happy.3 This helps to keep thoughtful memories of things that have made you happy, but also, you can look back at them when you might not be feeling your best.
Body: Find a silly workout video and exercise at home.4 Those 70s, 80s, and 90s workout videos were a good ol’ time. Let’s go back to the past and just have a blast with staying healthy.
Spirit: Acknowledge your emotions by expressing them in healthy ways.5 Find ways that are safe and healthy for you to express how you feel. Whether that be therapy, writing, art, exercising, kick boxing, etc. You know yourself best, find the best way for you.
Until next week, have a good one!
