Night Seven of Hanukkah
It’s the night before Hanukkah ends! As I was writing that the following line popped into my head, “It was the night before Christmas…” Haha! But Christmas is still a little while away! But anyway, that is not the point of tonight’s post! Night seven is about generosity and giving to others! So, I thought, why not use the 6 of pentacles as a jumping off point because that’s the card of generosity in tarot!
Of course, you can replace the 6 of pentacles card with an oracle card, if you wish to use an oracle deck instead. Just replace it with a card that means generosity or giving or gifting or something that fits the spirit of the 6 of pentacles.
I’ll still be using my Sefirot Tarot by Eliot Baum, Georg Hobmeier, Viv Tanner, and James Patton, and published by Hay House.
1- Where am I lacking generosity? 9 of cups
With the 9 of cups, it’s more that you’re working towards some type of fulfillment or reward of some kind rather than giving. So, perhaps, I need to sometimes stop and think about where I need to do more giving, instead only being focused on receiving.
In terms of where, like an area that I could be lacking generosity, the cups suit is all about emotions and relationships. So, perhaps I’m not giving enough of myself emotionally to other people. Which can also fit the vibe of needing to receive more than I give.
2- What can I do to change this? The world
Funnily enough, the world also means fulfillment, so I kind of feel like this is a double edged sword in a way. But I think having more gratitude for those around me and connecting with others on a deeper level can be very fulfilling and rewarding. So, recognizing that and working with it harmoniously is the ticket to making changes for the better.
Called out slightly but not as bad as night’s two and three. Haha. How’s your Hanukkah been if you’re been celebrating? How have you been enjoying these posts? They have been really fun to make!
We only have one more night to go!
